2023-2024 Inaugural Rafael Schächter Education Fellow, The Defiant Requiem Foundation
From 2023 to 2024, I served as the Rafael Schächter Education Fellow at the Defiant Requiem Foundation, a Washington, D.C.–based organization dedicated to preserving the memory of prisoners in the Terezín concentration camp who turned to music and art as acts of resistance during the Holocaust. Working closely with the Director of Education, I created a viewing guide for the Foundation's Emmy-nominated documentary film, developed resources for teachers, and built outreach materials reaching all 50 states. I collaborated on programming with partner institutions including the Leo Baeck Institute, the Butterfly Project, and Centropa, and helped plan and implement the Foundation's 2024 Summer Seminar for New and Advanced Teaching Ambassadors in Washington, D.C.
Digital Educator- The U.S. Army Women’s Museum
Since 2021, I have served as the Digital Education Manager for the U.S. Army Women's Museum at Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia — the only museum in the world dedicated to the history of women's service in the U.S. Army. I develop and deliver virtual programs that bring the museum's archives and collections to schools, organizations, and communities across the country. Programs I have created include Spies & Disguise: American Women during the Revolution, Spies & Disguise: American Women during the Civil War, Soldiers in Skirts: Army Women in the Vietnam War, and No Mail, Low Morale: Charity Adams & the Women of the 6888th. I also work on outreach and marketing strategies to expand the museum's digital reach and connect new audiences with over 230 years of women's military history.
Co-Founder of The College of Social Science Achievement Gala
In 2015, as the student representative for the History Department at Michigan State, I joined the Dean’s Student Advisory Council for the College of Social Science. In 2016, I was elected as President for the student advisory board and with the support and partnership of Leigh Rauk, we founded the Achievement Awards and Gala to be honored every spring.
With a student-led team, we embarked on fundraising to establish three awards: the Humanitarian, Outstanding Leadership and Undergraduate Research Award and recognizing an outstanding alum from the college.

With more than 6,300 undergraduate students, the College of Social Science has long been the largest college on the campus of Michigan State University. With 13 major fields of study and 8 departments contained within it, the college is committed to the study of social, behavioral and economic sciences. To honor and recognize excellent students for their humanitarian efforts and academics who would not otherwise be acknowledged, the Dean’s Student Advisory Council presents the Annual College of Social Science Gala. The Gala gives outstanding alumni and students an opportunity to meet face-to-face and converse about their goals and achievements. It allows time for the best and brightest of Social Science Spartans to discuss a cause annually and offers the opportunity to come together as a college and recognize our distinguished accomplishments.
